# First login

> Sign in, set your password and turn on two-step authentication.

On first run the installer writes an initial admin password to a file on the machine. Read it, sign in, then change the password and delete the file.

```bash theme={null}
cat ~/.d0pam1ne-pro/initial_admin.txt
```

## Steps

**1. Open the app**

Browse to `https://localhost:7331` (or your LAN address).

**2. Sign in**

Use `admin` and the password from `initial_admin.txt`.

**3. Change your password**

Go to Settings and set your own password, then delete the initial file.

**4. Turn on 2FA**

Two-step login protects access over the network. Enrol an authenticator in your account settings.

**5. Set the company identity**

The first admin is walked through onboarding to set the firm name, logo and house colours used on reports.

> Every account can have its own password, sessions and CLI tokens, and roles decide who can run tools versus only read. See the Team page under Administration.
